From the early age of five, Ella was no stranger to responsibility. Diagnosed with rheumatic fever, she stayed out of the fields and instead took charge of cooking for her family—a role that would shape her future. Over time, she honed her culinary skills, completed high school, and became a professional chef. More than just a job, cooking became an extension of her care and love for others.

As a single mother of four, she juggled three jobs to give her children private Catholic school education—never depending on welfare or government assistance.
